So why don't we have a photo of you and your first equine???

Deb and her first owned 'live' pony.... Dusty a yearling Shetland colt was up for bids at a school fund auction. Being walking distance to school I was there alone, my father having (jokingly he thought) told me not to bid more than $50 on the pony. The whole town apparently knew I was horse crazy, no one bid against me. Imagine Dad's surprise when I can running home for the money. I was 11 at the time. I sold him 2 years later having taught him to ride, drive and do tricks, I had grown more than he had, I was just too big for him.

" I'm just starting my riding career by ripping the poor horse's mouth off! I convinced the stable owners and my parents that "I can ride by myself"!!!! I was 3 and a half in the picture. I love it! I have learned to be gentler with my horses. Who am I? ...........Pam

This is Dawn with her first horse Annie's Song, they enjoyed 20 happy years together.

Here is Kathy's first horse Misty Dawn, thrilling some kids. Kathy and Misty were in the 'big sister' program. Kathy is still trying to find a photo of herself with Misty.
