
About seventeen people showed up for the picnic ride day, more than half just for the food and company. The day was sunny and bright but not very warm.
A steady breeze cooled sitters and threatened the wildflower centerpieces.

Ample tables and chairs invited people to be comfortable and visit.

New this year was a cabana looking out house, a real step up from 'copping a squat'.


Everyone wished they were going to ride too. The weather was perfect for riding.

"So ya say a horse generally has four legs..."
NO just kidding.
If there are a couple of fellows who know horse feet its Cory and Pete.
two of the finest hoof care specialists in the area. Pete is also the fellow behind Peterbylt Farrier Aprons.

Even the cool breeze couldn't keep people from lingering to chat.

Over three dozen challenges were spread around four acres for riders to test communication with their mount.
Over, under and thru... there were things to try from easy to hard. Non-riders got to watch and sometimes help.

Food... everyones favorite...well, next to horses of course
